Whadup my clinic children? really alls we got to say about this new flick is shit is getting realllllllly clinical now days filming as much as we all do keeping up as much as we can with how insane skateboardings growth has been. Shit to be honest its not easy not at all the fails and the falls. This is the oposite of what happens when you see us land on bolts.

Also as you should know the contest is now in play we are yes we ARE accepting submission now so send in your video via-tha mobtage contest page so we can get partying you have a month a full month for 2 minutes of good shit and we are excited to see it all wish you the best of luck, if i were to cheat and say what i would like to see? i want to see REAL core fun no politics just fun but some of the others might want to see a little more so so sincerious shit ya know? so a big mix is a good thing, thanks to the best of the best alien workshop-schneider optics/century-mada-digital x - last but not least The Skateboard Mag for all sponsoring our contest. alright so as we all know the reality of skating a gap isnt always a first try situation, Jamie Gonz having heavy feet or as we call it back in virginia "swamp gut" a front 3 - and a 3 flip in one day hes lucky to not go through a couple fresh decks gap wars are alwahs the best. never give up never surrender its a hard knock life for "us" and by us i mean skaters street skaters to be exact.

6/13/2008 - And the winner is.....

This week's end Friday the 13th..sketchy? we aren't going to be uploading a video right away since Romar's day in the life took some time we want to give everything a little break and let that soak in so everybody can get a good glimpse before we post a new flick. Today also is the 10th annual Skateboarding awards hosted by Transworld Skateboarding Magazine!!! yeee and a package showed up to my front door with 2 formal invites and a bunch of TWS stickers im amped so that's what we will be doing. The Annual Skateboarding Awards is a fun time they will be premiering their new skate video by Transworld Media also called "AND NOW" Featuring the new hot talent of 2008 an old Pal Kenny Hoyle is actually going to have a part he's a Carlsbad Native for those of you who don't know and he's came a long ass way from when i first met him this should be GOOD real GOOD!

Oh and .. Unfortunately "The Head" won't be able to make it out to the event to cover it for the site even though that would make a great video. okay so here is the long awaited "a day in the life" with Mr. Kevin Romar himself...like i said it's a good one and it was worth the wait and i hope you agree with me. Follow Promar around the streets of long beach with his hommies as they go and crush a couple of parks featuring - julian davidson -nick garcia -jacob walder - abner jacques, after some nollie backside double heels go down? hold on? what the fuck? nollie backside double heel?

hahhahah Romar rolls down south to go peep the premiere of Digital Smoke and Mirrors where we run into Jimmy Carlin trying to explain how romar does everything the wrong but right way? ha enjoy and have fun with it there is more to come soon also we want to give a big thanks to Mr. Don Luong he filmed this segment with Romar for me and he did one hell of a fuckin job 2 so sick so sick ye yeee don you'll be seeing more of his work for sure..

just to inform Romar's a day in the life is running a tad bit late it is finished and sealed but we've ran into a minor complication in transfering it to the hands of the holder so we will have it up for sure maybe even LATE tonite if we get lucky but i'd be safe to say check back tommorrow but believe me you it's worth the wait you will see why we call this guy PROMAR -

also...this past weekend we went out skating with the fam.. and the krew ha and it was tight we've been skating with a Texan native named Cody Mcentire and man if you haven't seen his part in the digital smoke and mirrors when you do you'll trip he's been mobbin out with tha clinic fam also he's a great dude. So before we sign off also ran into a good ol pal Steve Claire from KREW at this little after bar burrito spot on friday nite him and the infamous Shawn White to be exact..Steve was bitching b/c i gave him no shout out on the site so here it is FOOL! Great friends of tha clinic fam have done it again..they did our first characters but now they've stepped it up a notch for us on these ones...really talented cats and they live in a different country!! and still show us great love thanks for it all yall homages ha..

Also wanted to give you guys a recap on the weekend of the family.. Friday was the Digital "Smoke and Mirrors" Premiere..it was tight at a new skate shop in chula vista San diego and the video was intense.. Ronson and Romar's shit was so fucking crazy they couldn't feel their face... Austin Lycans and Jamie Gonzales also had some tricks in the friends montage...

Corey went hard on filming all that shit and it looks good so don't forget to pick up your copy of the new digital video and let the skating inspire your feeeeeets haha via - digitalskateboarding ...oh and MOBTAGE #2 is in the works... contest is coming sooooon still and Romar finished his day in the life on friday so we've gotta sit down and chop chop it up..come back soon take care.

5/30/2008 - Surprise Surprise

For today's fix we have a special surprise...we were given a great chance to visit Terry for his surprise birthday party for his big 23rd year we decided it would be stupid not to document such an epic moment...

TK might have the bling the rap records and Fly Society on top of the gnar he just put out in baker's new promo video "BAKER HAS A DEATHWISH" but that could never compare to being surprised by all of your closest friends and family on your birthday for a celebration..it was a traditional birthday party nothing out of control but we honestly wouldn't think it would have went better any other way...walk around with BG as he gives you a mini tour of the guests TK's Crip-Cakes..meet all TK's close friends and family and enjoy this moment and don't forget to give Terry a big happy birthday if you haven't yet he's one of the greatest dudes we've met in life thus far and has been a Big help in the people over here at thaclinic.com in major ways...

5/15/2008 - More Mobtage Video Contest info

Sup,

Well today Me and Corey had a meeting with the big boy over at Schneider Optics at the Schneider Optics + Century headquarters. Now for those of you who aren't familiar with that company these are the people who make the infamous "DEATH LENS" that Every skateboarding video you watch uses. We decided that we wanted to involve them into this contest being the fact that it's a Video contest and they have contributed to the skateboard communities video demographic for quite some time and hardly Credited to the fact. So I'm here to tell you and as given permission to say by the big guy over there We are the first people to Give away an Infamous Century optics .3 "DEATH LENS" made by Schneider Optics in a skateboarding video contest and hopefully not the last. They are real great people over there and we want to give them a big thanks for contributing such an expensive item to give away for one of you guys' Hard Work on your 2 minute mobtage being approximately at a worth of $1000.00 bucks a pop. This Lens will be given to the first prize winner along with some other goodies, 2nd and 3rd place will win some goodies also.

More details next week so i hope you guys are working hard out there and filming and choppin up some dope shit and oh...if you don't film with a sony DCR VX1000/2000/2100? it's cool Schneider has agreed that no matter the case as so long as they make the DEATH LENS for your camera's fitting they will send you the correct one. BE on point like i said...more info details on rules,prize winnings,and submission time sometime next week. Alright alright, so we've showed you guys our montage with our crew and shit you know? We figured it would be mad tight to see some of your shit, the people that have came here and visited and showed us so much love on this project, ya know? So here's the deal We're going to do a contest soon..the contest is going to be based on your filmer and your crew's best 2 minute montage edited, chopped and screwed or whatever you want to do with it..

We're going to then pick the top 10 or so and post on the site for visitors to vote.. then the top 3 number of votes get put up and goes to WAR for the numero uno... but this isn't for free we got some goodies for the winner trust me.. some real good goodies because we can respect some good hard work and love for skating.. we will post soon with the specific details and dates so for now keep in mind and stack that footy and start focusing BE on point this should be fun

For starters,

i want to clear some of this internet air out..i apologize to all of you who had to read all of that craziness that was posted on the "Talk your shit" archive..and i want to let everyone understand what we're doing here..

this is a site based on everything that has inspired me and corey in skateboarding thus far and we are paying homages..i will let everybody know the original clinic dummy was created by Jeff Aezer yes and was also a contributer to the inspiration of this project..so point made.

Now with that being said here's the first montage and i honestly think it's pretty fucking shred life..ha watch enjoy then go talk your shit..

YOOOOOOO what up welcome to tha clinic yall..our world my mind online i hope it's good enough for you guys, we put a lot of hard work into this with a very short amount of time...on top we present you with our Launch teaser introducing the mob itself..and trust me..there is a LOT more footage where that came from..

i wanted really to do a full length episode to start yall off with but due to the fact Romar and Ronson are filming parts for Digital "Smoke and Mirrors" we have to put that on hold for a bit...hope you enjoy and also there is a graffiti page sort of like a message board you guys can all post your comments,thoughts,ideas to add to this community, and or whatever you feel..fuck it if you hate it or what you see verbalize it..this is america where free speech is practiced so i aint mad atcha Love Hurts...

also stay tuned for a lot more to come this is just the start of it all..we will be doing a bunch of shit involving whom ever is here basically Contests and all that good shit is in line and we will keep you posted on that. Big on giving back so don't take that lightly..
